The wild beating of her heart was easy to detect for such high tuned scanners as his, and the numbers were easier to read than the expressions. Sadly even thou’ his stay on Earth had been rather long, he had not learned to read humans in the ‘normal ways’ that well.
Making sure that he had enough space around himself this time, the titan bent down from knees, and with hisses of pistons the Prime knelt down to be more on level with this human. His intentions to scare her less if he appeared smaller.
“I do not intend to hurt you.”
“And I apologize for the inconvenience. If there is anything I can do to help you… fix your table, do not hesitate to ask.”
✿ \ A silent whimper escaped the small girl as the gigantic robot moved, but she didn’t run away; because she recognized the way he bent down. It was the same thing she did when she was trying to show the animals she had no intentions to hurt–
’I do not intend to hurt you.’
The reassuring words made Fluttershy blink, and when he offered help to her, she couldn’t help but let a small smile appear.
“Oh, no.. It’s fine.. It was just a table.. And you didn’t mean to do it, so you are forgiven.” Her soft voice was barely audible, but she couldn’t really speak any louder because – well – because that was just how she was.
✶ Wendy pressed her tongue to the top of her mouth to stop herself from babbling back. The compliment was unexpected, given she’d been stating fact, and the other girl felt the need to say she was pretty. But a proud blush took to her cheeks, warming them just so.
“Lost? Ah, I hadn’t anywhere to be, and was flying, you see, and I landed outside but couldn’t take flight once more.” A dreary sigh escaped Wendy’s lips, her hands folded before her.
✿ \ ”You can fly?“ Fluttershy was a naive girl, so even if it wasn’t true; she would believe every little bit of it. For a moment, her gaze landed upon the shoulders of the young girl, imagining a pair of beautiful feathery wings.
”I have never heard of a human who can fly.. Do you have wings?“ That would be the most amazing thing for the animal lover, for she wished she could have a pair of her own beautiful wings. "Is there anything I can do to help you..?”
✿ \ The girl was currently completely defenseless against the words coming from the one in front of her; brutal and harmful words that she had no other option but to accept without further questioning.
Bullies had always been a problem for her; because she was easy to pick on. Because she’d take whatever was given to her without trying to struggle out of it.
Pathetic. Weak. Stupid. So many words were repeated as they were thrown at her by the girl in front of her, two others giggling every time the bully opened her mouth, and Fluttershy remained still, shoulders rising as she tried to make herself as little as possible.
The metal titan towered over the petite girl and their surroundings, having not meant to bring harm to anything, but such delicate structures tented to be too weak to survive around him.
“My apologies. I did not mean to break your… wooden construction.”
Optimus said, a giant hand motioning towards the thing he didn’t recognize. But it was wooden and as his scanners picked up, contained human food in it. And as it now stood, one of the corners had collapsed.
